What is it?
The "Children in Permaculture" group was initiated during the EPT meeting in Slovenia in 2012. It's a group that would like to see more children involved in Permaculture. It aims for inclusion. This group started an email group and kept in touch in between the meetings of the EPT. They were able to gather up in Portugal, UK and now in Bulgaria.
The email group lost its energy, however wanted to continue. They would like to still keep in touch with many people who have been working with children, who have experience with children and Permaculture and/or have teacher training experience. There are also experienced parents so "Children in Permaculture" set out to bring resources together and not really "re-invent" the wheel.
We are a group of enthusiasts who want to create an European Children Permaculture Network.
What's the next step?
Applying for a strategic partnership (3 years) through Erasmus+. We need to get "seed money" to kick start a project. We are gathering people who are interested in this project. We are also getting core partners (four or five) organised to september 2014 and start running the funding circle.
